Myself, 6 of my sisters and my mom had a wonderful time at the beautiful dome! We all had our own beds which were clean and comfy! The kitchen was very well stocked so it made it easy to prepare food! Some of us enjoyed the kayaks and we all enjoyed sitting on the dock enjoying the beautiful sunrises and sunsets! It definitely is a wonderful place to be if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle and enjoy a peaceful vacation!

We stayed at Eddie’s place for four nights with our family of four and our friends’ family of three, including two young toddlers. They absolutely loved the house—bonding over all the toys and enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings. The dome house itself is so unique; our little ones, just learning to speak, couldn’t stop pointing out all the triangles they saw! Although it’s about a one-hour drive from Bar Harbor, the home felt far more spacious and private than anything closer in, making the trip well worth it. Our baby unfortunately got sick during the stay, so we spent more time indoors than planned. Having such a roomy, well-equipped, and memorable home right by the lake (calling it a “pond” feels like an understatement) turned out to be a real lifesaver.

We had a great time at the dome! The home was beautiful and we really enjoyed taking the kayaks out on the water. Eddie was very helpful and responded quickly to our questions. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We stayed at Eddie's dome in mid August and it was absolutely magical. We spent nights watching the stars and listening to the owls and the loons, mornings at the pond swimming and reading, and evenings fishing and cooking yummy meals eaten on the beautiful deck. We were within a short, very easydrive to Acadia and Bar Harbor where we adventured for a couple of days as well. Maine is the best! Come visit and stay at Eddie's!

Eddie was an excellent attentive host and the dome was a great place to relax and visit the park from. Kayaking and swimming in the lake, looking at the Milky Way at night. Thanks for a great experience!

The Dome is amazing and an experience not to be missed. It’s very thoughtfully equipped and strategically located to the Bar Harbor. Although I was always so glad to get back the peace and quiet of the cabin. We spent hours on the lake-successfully fishing, kayaking and floating. And, the STARS….We were fortunate to have clear nights with wonderful visibility…our last night we were even able to see the Milkey Way!!! All in all we had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every moment and look forward to returning again
