A truly one of a kind house that lets you disconnect from the rest of the world, if you want. Stunning architecture and unique layout made it a very special stay. This house and property really let you connect with the surrounding nature :) The kitchen was very easy to navigate and had everything needed to make memorable meals including amazing views to that made those meals more special (especially breakfast time with the sun coming up over Great Pond). Nights were cozy with all the amenities to enjoy the wonderful fireplace with the ones you love. Very spacious layout, but wide open so you better really know and be comfortable with all the guests that stay with you. About 50 mins away from Acadia, the drive to and from are not fatiguing and quite enjoyable. We stayed during the Thanksgiving break so surrounding towns were very quiet (keep in mind if planning to shop/eat/etc). The Dome is highly recommended and we hope so visit again when its warmer outside to use the lake!

The Dome was the perfect location for a pre holiday family gathering. We were visiting family in Franklin and wanted someplace comfortable enough for various family members to be able to drop by. The dome has ample space for indoor/outdoor living, even in the cooler months. Our kids and cousins loved exploring the pond and woods while the adults enjoyed warm beverages in front of the cozy fire place. VERY family friendly and has everything you need to hunker down and unwind from any “real world” chaos. The dome was clean, comfortable, well appointed and charming. Highly recommended!

Eddie was a wonderful host, always responsive and helpful. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, cups, etc and the cleaning products provided were helpful. The fireplace was super easy to use and made the dome so warm and cozy. Lots of firewood is on the property! My friends and I had such a lovely reunion and birthday weekend. We were a group of 12 and we all fit cozy in the dome. Thank you, Eddie!

It's was an awesome home, The kids loved the layout.. We property was amazing the kids were out every day trying to catch a fish 😂 n playing football... The weather was a little rainy but we made the best of it .. campfire under all the beautiful bright stars... 💕... Trips to Bar Harbor, Bangor, and Acadia... Eddie was a very responsive, helpful, n understanding host.. Would love to come back ..

We stayed in The Dome for three nights. A unique stay with all the amenities we needed. We spent part of each day in Acadia but were always excited to get back to see the night sky and enjoy the space. Eddie was very responsive and we felt right at home. We would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

this was an awesome stay! it was completely unique from any other airbnb I've been in, and the scenery was absolutely gorgeous. every day was an adventure in the house, and the outdoor amenities were fantastic as well.

Find us

You'll want a car to explore any surrounding areas, but you also would have all you need to enjoy a week right at the house. This area of Maine does not have consistent rideshare service. If you need help with coordinating transportation, let me know ahead of time.
