Enjoy all four of Maine's seasons at this lakehouse. The Main House at Getogether Stays cabin micro-resort sleeps 8 and includes free kayaks. Have you ever dreamed of being the owner of a campground or wondered what it is like to stay in the owner's building at one? Well here is your chance to live your dream for a visit to this cabin campground. The cabins are closed in the winter, but the main house is still available to rent! Enjoy this lovely home and the entire grounds of the property

Good to know

Bedroom 1: Comfortably furnished with a king-sized bed and a spacious closet. This is on the first floor of the house and has easy access to the bathroom. Bedroom 2: Features two full beds and a dresser, ideal for children or guests. On the second floor. Bedroom 3: Boasts a queen bed and a small work desk, perfect for relaxation or catching up on work. Views of the lake through the window over the desk. Bathroom 1: A full bathroom equipped with a shower, vanity, and essential toiletries. A simple set up, it serves the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms. Bathroom 2: Includes a bathtub/shower combo, a mirror, and a vanity. Conveniently located for easy access from the first bedroom and living areas. Living Area: Styled with a comfortable sofa and a flat-screen TV. This inviting space is great for relaxation and social gatherings. Dining Area: Contains a dining table with seating for six, perfect for enjoying meals together. The area is enhanced by natural light and a view of the outdoors. Kitchen: Fully equipped with modern appliances, including a refrigerator, stove, and microwave. Features ample counter space and all you should need to cook for your stay if you don't want to go out.

Other Details to Note

My self or other staff members might be around the cabin campground area doing winter maintenance during daytime hours, but we won't bother you and won't be near the main house!

The main house is located in Orland, Maine. Right on the shores of Toddy Pond, you’re also less than 20 minutes from beautiful coastal Maine towns and around 45 minutes to Acadia National Park.

Guest Access

You can access all of the main house and the grounds of the property. If you'd like to check out one of the cabins, I'm happy to try to make that available for you upon request!

Situated about 45 minutes from Acadia, this was a great spot for our stay. We did not have walkable restaurants or bars or shops, but we did not want that, and this place delivered. It is right on the main road to Acadia so there was a bit of road noise in the upstairs bedrooms, but in the bedroom my wife and I used, it was not noticeable. The house itself was amazing. Highly recommend. The bed my wife and I used was comfy, the pillows wonderful, the kitchen filled with all the kitchen stuff that could ever be used. The grounds were very well kept and right on Toddy Pond. Our October stay had great weather but I felt the baseboard heating doing its job when needed on the cool mornings. We used the provided kayaks on the pond at sunset one night, and woke up a couple of nights to watch the sunrise burn off the pond mist. We had 2 cars and it was a little tight, but easily managed parking. Eddie was nothing but proactive and communicative through the whole process. A+ host!

Indian Summer. It felt like being at camp. Loved sitting around the fire in the evening. There were no mosquitos or flies. It was perfect. Day trips to Fort Knox and Acadia. We recommend the lobster and crab meat from Wood’s Seafood. What a lovely introduction to Maine and Northeast!

We had a fantastic stay at Eddie’s place! The place was beautiful and had all the amenities listed (and more) to accommodate our big group of 8. The best parts were having access to the lake with canoes, grilling for dinner and making smores by the firepit!! My group loved it and we all wished we could stay for longer. Eddie’s instructions were very clear and helpful, and he was very responsive to our questions before/during the trip. Could not recommend enough!

The property was perfect for 5 people located on a beautiful pond. There was plenty of room for outdoor relaxation as well as kayaking and fishing. We would definitely come back. Eddie was a great host.

The house was roomy, well equipped and comfortable. It was great having a bathroom on each floor and having a washer and dryer was very convenient. The lake was beautiful and peaceful, warm enough for swimming. There were always plenty of kayaks available for us to use and it was fun getting out on the water. Eddie was quick to respond to every question. I wish we could have stayed longer!
