Wow! What a beautiful spot. We were visiting Maine for a wedding and were able to gather as a family at Eddie’s place. The touches inside - from plenty of fresh towels to thoughtful decor to a fully equipped kitchen - we’re so appreciated, especially as we were traveling from overseas. The lake is stunning and some of our crew were able to take out the canoe for a late night paddle where they enjoyed the beauty of a starlit sky. The space was perfect for our 10 guests. I can’t say enough about it. Only points of note are that it is next to a busy road so you need to keep an eye on toddlers who might wander. The driveway is small but once we found it there were no issues. All in all it really was a perfect stay. Eddie communicated often and was available had we needed anything - we didn’t!Thanks Eddie.

We had a great time for a short stay during our visit to Acadia National park. House has beautiful view of the lake. While it looked old from outside, it is nicely remodeled from inside. Host was very helpful with great recommendations for places to eat and things to do.

Our stay at Eddie's was perfect! The house was clean, welcoming and so comfortable. We were able to explore Bar Harbor and Acadia easily as well as Bucksport. Relaxing at Eddie's, whether it was in the morning having coffee outside at the dock on the lake and going for a kyak adventure to see the eagles, swimming and kyaking on the lake in the afternoon sun, or making a campfire in the evening and marveling at the incredibly starry nights was exactly what we were looking for. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen and great room let us enjoy meals and watching tv together easily. Somehow Eddie was able to arrange sunshine for us almost every day! We would love to come back!

We rented this beautiful house on the lake for our friends bachelorette weekend. We had an amazing time. Eddie was a great host! We had 8 girls and there was plenty of beds for all of us! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful lakefront property to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Eddie’s house (2 families: 9 people, including 5 kids ages 6-12). This was a nice home-base to come back to after our Acadia adventures (but also don’t miss out on the observatory tower in Bucksport!)…making our trip feel easy & relaxed. We fished & paddled daily on the pond. Slept great in the clean comfy beds at night. The lower level living area (with a walkout to the pond) was great for our older dog to avoid stairs. Highly recommend!

This lake house was an absolutely lovely stay for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the views were outstanding. Our whole family had a terrific time kayaking and fishing in the lake and it was not too far from Acadia!
